About This Fee Schedule
Hydra Travels Inc. (HydraTravels.us) is an independent, ARC-accredited travel agency (ARC No. 45572424). The fees listed in this schedule are charged by Hydra Travels Inc. for services rendered after a ticket has been issued. These fees are separate from and in addition to any fees charged directly by the airline for the same service.
Fee Schedule Overview
All fees listed below are per-passenger unless otherwise indicated. Fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Hydra Travels Inc. will always disclose applicable fees before processing any post-ticketing service.
Ticket Changes & Exchanges
Domestic Itinerary Change
$50 per passengerChange of date, time, or routing on a domestic itinerary. Airline change fees and fare differences apply separately.
International Itinerary Change
$75 per passengerChange of date, time, or routing on an international itinerary. Airline change fees and fare differences apply separately.
Name Correction (Minor)
$35 per passengerCorrection of up to 3 characters in passenger name as permitted by the airline. Subject to airline policy approval.
Upgrade Request Processing
$50 per passengerProcessing of cabin class upgrade requests. Upgrade cost charged separately based on airline availability.
Cancellations & Refunds
Voluntary Ticket Cancellation
$75 per passengerProcessing cancellation of a voluntarily cancelled ticket. Non-refundable. Airline refund (if applicable) processed separately.
Refund Application Filing
$50 per passengerSubmission of a refund application to the airline on behalf of the passenger. Applicable for refundable fares and unused tax refunds.
Partial Refund (Unused Segment)
$50 per passengerProcessing refund for partially used tickets (unused flight segments). Subject to airline fare rules.
Additional Services
Reissuance / Ticket Reissue
$60 per passengerFull ticket reissuance required due to fare rule compliance or airline system requirements.
Duplicate Ticket / Itinerary Resend
$15 per requestResending of confirmed e-ticket itinerary or booking confirmation to an alternate email address.
Seat Assignment Processing
$25 per passengerProcessing of pre-assigned seat selection requests through the airline system.
Special Service Request (SSR) Processing
$20 per passengerProcessing of special service requests including meal preferences, wheelchair assistance, unaccompanied minor services, etc.
Airline Complaint / Compensation Filing
$75 per casePreparation and submission of airline complaint, delay compensation claim, or baggage claim on behalf of the passenger.
Fee Payment
All post-ticketing service fees are collected prior to the processing of any service. Fees are non-refundable once the service has been initiated, regardless of the outcome of the airline's response or decision.
Important Notes
- Hydra Travels Inc. service fees are distinct from and additional to any fees, penalties, or fare differences charged by the airline.
- Fee amounts are subject to change. The fee schedule in effect at the time of the service request will apply.
- Complimentary within-24-hour cancellations (DOT-mandated risk-free window) are processed without a Hydra Travels Inc. service fee, provided eligibility conditions are met.
- For bookings made under Hydra Travels Inc. promotional offers, fee waivers may apply as disclosed at the time of the promotion.
- Group bookings (10+ passengers) may be subject to modified fee schedules. Please contact our groups desk for more information.
