General Cancellation Terms
Cancellation rights and refund eligibility for airline tickets depend on the fare type purchased. Hydra Travels Inc. will communicate the cancellation terms applicable to your specific fare at the time of booking. Passengers are strongly encouraged to review fare conditions carefully before completing a purchase.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Hydra Travels Inc.via email or our online support form. Cancellations requested by phone will be documented and followed up with a written confirmation.
Refundable vs. Non-Refundable Fares
Non-Refundable Fares
The majority of promotional and economy fares are classified as non-refundable by the issuing airline. For non-refundable tickets:
- No monetary refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- The airline may, at its discretion, offer a future travel credit (typically valid for 12 months from the original ticket issue date). Hydra Travels Inc. will facilitate this process on your behalf, subject to airline policy.
- Hydra Travels Inc. post-ticketing service fees apply and are non-refundable.
- Taxes and government fees may be partially or fully refundable depending on the jurisdiction. Hydra Travels Inc. will file for applicable tax refunds on your behalf upon request.
Refundable Fares
Refundable fares entitle the passenger to a refund of the base fare and applicable taxes, subject to any airline-imposed cancellation fees. Refund timelines are as follows:

24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation
In accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, tickets purchased for travel originating in the United States may qualify for a full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of booking, provided the ticket was purchased at least 7 days before the scheduled departure date. Hydra Travels Inc. will facilitate this refund at no additional service fee.
Airline-Initiated Cancellations
If an airline cancels or significantly alters your flight, you are generally entitled to a full refund or rebooking at no additional cost, in accordance with airline and DOT policies. Hydra Travels Inc. will assist you in pursuing your rights with the airline in such circumstances. Please note that Hydra Travels Inc.is not financially liable for flight cancellations initiated by the carrier.
How to Request a cancellation

- Include your booking reference number, passenger names, and the reason for cancellation.
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and provide you with next steps.
- Do not contact the airline directly to cancel tickets booked through Hydra Travels, as this may complicate the refund process.
